The Professional Women’s Networking Group of St. George exists to help each member grow her business through referrals, education, and support.

We focus on solutions to concerns specific to women business owners. We’ve found that as a supportive group we can increase our customer bases, enrich our lives, and have fun – all at the same time.

The Professional Women’s Networking Group was started in the summer of 2008 in St. George, Utah. Judy Szamos, founder, envisioned an inclusive group of professional women supporting each other.

Meetings:

Our meetings combine networking, education, and fun, – in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. We let everyone tell about their business in a short (less than 1 minute) elevator speech. Then we either have a Show Your Business or a Grow Your Business portion. We try to leave time at the end of the meetings to personally network with other members that you want to talk with.

Show Your Business Meetings

In odd months (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept, Nov) a member takes 10 minutes and explains her business. She focuses on how her business can help other members and offers an exclusive special for those in attendance.

Grow Your Business Meetings

In even months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) a member takes 10 minutes and presents a topic of interest to business women owners.

These are ‘educational’ meetings as we work to strengthen our relationships and our business knowledge. Topics include marketing practices, accounting tips, time management advice, and other guidance. These subjects are presented in such a way as to specifically help us as women in business.

FUN

For all of our meetings we try to leave time for talking. Of course, sometimes we deviate from the above schedule and will just get together and have a party – especially around the holidays.
